'MUSSOCK' is the acronym for 'Mussel Seeding Socking' which is the biodegradable cotton socking invented by Andy Joines in 1977.

Since this date 'Mussel Products Ltd', has supplied 'MUSSOCK' sockings to the local and international markets.

And now with all mussel producing countries considering moving to the 'New Zealand Continuous Longline Method of Mussel Cultivation', the need was seen for a speciality high speed knitting machine.

So the Model F1 'Mussock' Knitting System was developed as a stand alone unit, and offered to the local industry in 2006. By mid 2009 there were thirty systems operating in New Zealand and due to their reliability and efficiency it was decided to offer them to the international mussel aquaculture industry.

Mussock International Ltd was formed and is now accepting orders for this revolutionary 'mussel socking knitting system'.
